Capabilities
Paper converting and paper roll slitting are the generic industry terms that describe our services, but these terms apply to all materials that can be converted. Paper converting is also known as toll converting and contract converting.

Material Concepts can provide converting, slitting, and unwinding services for master rolls:

• Up to 127 inches wide
• Up to 100 inches diameter

Material Concepts can provide rewinding services for finished rolls:

• Up to 127 inches wide
• Up to 63 inches diameter

Perforating
Not to be confused with tear-off perforating, our perforating process puts a specific hole size pattern across the entire web and is done for papers used on CAM equipment such as air flotation tables and vacuum cutters for automated materials cutting. Material Concepts will perforate your master rolls so you can unwind to your customer specification. We offer three different hole sizes:

• MAX-AIR™ Perforated Kraft - Maximum air flow, 1/4 inch hole size
• MICRO™ Perforated Kraft - Minimal air flow, 1/32 inch hole size
• AIR-RUDY™ Perforated Kraft - Moderate air flow, 1/8 inch hole size
